Diplomático Planas White Rum, Diplomático Mantuano Dark Rum, Grand Marnier, Lime, Tomoka Orgeat

Created in the 1940s in California, “Mai Tai” means “very good” in Tahitian. The original recipe is simpler than many of the fruitier versions you find around the world today, calling for just white rum, lime, orange curacao and orgeat, with a layer of dark rum floated on top. The taste of real almonds from our house Orgeat is the essential component in this drink – drawing all the other flavors together, without being overly sweet.
